1. Promoter

  1. MATCHPICKS Weekly is promoted by Marcrist International, trading as Marcrist MATCHPICKS.
  2. Questions about the Competition should be sent to info@marcrist.com.

2. Eligibility

  1. The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.
  2. Employees, officers and directors of the Promoter, its associated companies, agencies and suppliers directly connected with the Competition may not enter.
  3. Internet access, a valid email address and a MATCHPICKS account are required.
  4. Only one account and one set of predictions per person is permitted each Competition Week. Entries made using multiple accounts, false identities or another person’s details will be disqualified.
  5. The Promoter may request proof of age, identity, address and eligibility before awarding a prize.

3. Competition period

  1. MATCHPICKS Weekly is a recurring weekly football prediction competition.
  2. Each “Competition Week” will consist of four selected fixtures taking place over a single weekend fixture period, from Friday to Monday inclusive. The first advertised fixture is scheduled to kick off at 20:00 on Friday 21 August 2026.
  3. Each Competition Week will feature four selected football fixtures: three Premier League fixtures and one Championship fixture. Where there are insufficient suitable Premier League or Championship fixtures available, including during FA Cup weekends, the Promoter may select one or more FA Cup fixtures as part of that Competition Week instead.
  4. The fixtures, advertised kick-off times and available jackpot will be displayed at matchpicks.marcrist.com/weekly.
  5. Predictions for each fixture must be submitted before that fixture’s scheduled or actual kick-off, as determined by the Competition platform. Once a fixture has locked, its prediction cannot be entered or changed.
  6. Entrants are responsible for submitting their predictions in time. Late, incomplete, corrupted or unsuccessful submissions will not be accepted, regardless of the reason.

4. How to enter

  1. Entry is free. No purchase or payment card is required.
  2. To enter, an eligible person must: (a) create or sign in to a MATCHPICKS account at matchpicks.marcrist.com/weekly/join; (b) select a predicted full-time score for all four featured fixtures; and (c) submit those predictions before the relevant fixtures lock.
  3. Predictions apply to the score after 90 minutes plus added time only. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not count.
  4. An entry is valid only when predictions have been successfully recorded for all four fixtures.
  5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not successfully submitted because of equipment failure, technical problems, network failure or circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.

5. Standard winning criteria

  1. To qualify for the jackpot under the standard winning criteria, an entrant must: (a) correctly predict the result of all four fixtures; and (b) correctly predict the exact score of at least one of those fixtures.
  2. A correct result means correctly predicting whether the fixture ends in a home win, a draw or an away win.
  3. An exact score means that both teams’ predicted goal totals match the official full-time score exactly.
  4. Example: if an entrant predicts 2–1 and the fixture finishes 3–1, the entrant has correctly predicted the result but not the exact score.
  5. Predictions will be assessed using the official results published by the Premier League, English Football League or another authoritative results provider selected by the Promoter.

6. Jackpot

  1. The jackpot starts at £50.
  2. If there is no qualifying winner during a Competition Week, £50 will be added to the jackpot for the following Competition Week.
  3. The jackpot will continue to increase by £50 following each Competition Week without a winner, up to a maximum of £1,000.
  4. If one entrant satisfies the standard winning criteria, that entrant will win the advertised jackpot.
  5. If more than one entrant satisfies the standard winning criteria, one jackpot winner will be selected from all qualifying entrants through a live random tie-breaker draw.
  6. The jackpot will not be divided between qualifying entrants.
  7. Following a jackpot win, the jackpot will reset to £50 for the next Competition Week.

7. £1,000 guaranteed-winner week

  1. When the advertised jackpot reaches £1,000, the jackpot must be awarded during that Competition Week. There will be a guaranteed winner.
  2. If one or more eligible entrants satisfy the standard winning criteria, the winner will be determined in accordance with clauses 6.4 and 6.5.
  3. If no eligible entrant satisfies the standard winning criteria, every eligible entrant who submitted a valid entry for that Competition through its entirety will be entered into a live random wheel-spin draw.
  4. One entrant will be selected at random through the wheel-spin draw and will win the full £1,000 jackpot.
  5. Following the £1,000 guaranteed-winner Competition Week, the jackpot will reset to £50 for the next Competition Week.

8. Tie-breaker and guaranteed-winner draws

  1. Any tie-breaker or guaranteed-winner draw will be conducted fairly and at random by the Promoter using a live wheel spin.
  2. The draw will take place within three days after the final featured fixture has been completed or treated as completed under clause 9.
  3. Details of the live draw, including its scheduled date, time and viewing location, will be published on Marcrist’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
  4. Entrants included in the draw will also be contacted directly using the email address provided with their entry.
  5. The Promoter’s decision regarding eligibility, fixture results, entries and winner selection is final.

9. Postponed, abandoned or cancelled fixtures

  1. If any featured fixture is not played and completed as scheduled for any reason, including postponement, abandonment or cancellation, it will be treated as a 0–0 draw for the purposes of the Competition.
  2. Predictions submitted for the affected fixture will be assessed against the deemed 0–0 result.
  3. Any rearranged, replayed or subsequently completed fixture will not replace the deemed 0–0 result and will have no effect on the outcome of that Competition Week.
  4. During a £1,000 guaranteed-winner Competition Week, the jackpot will still be awarded. If no eligible entrant satisfies the standard winning criteria after any affected fixture has been treated as a 0–0 draw, the winner will be selected through the wheel-spin draw described in clauses 7 and 8.
  5. Any decision concerning a postponed, abandoned, cancelled or otherwise uncompleted fixture will be published on the Competition website as soon as reasonably practicable.

10. Winner notification and verification

  1. The provisional winner will be contacted using the email address or other contact details connected with their MATCHPICKS account.
  2. A person is not confirmed as the winner until all required checks have been completed.

11. Prize payment

  1. The prize is the cash amount advertised for the relevant Competition Week.
  2. The prize will be paid in pounds sterling by bank transfer to a UK bank account held in the confirmed winner’s name. The winner is responsible for ensuring that all bank details provided to Marcrist are complete and accurate. Marcrist will not be responsible for any loss, delay or failed payment resulting from incorrect or incomplete bank details supplied by the winner.
  3. The prize will normally be paid within 30 days after the winner has been contacted and successfully verified.
  4. The prize is personal to the winner and cannot be transferred to another person.
  5. The winner is responsible for any tax liability arising from receiving the prize.

12. Winner information

  1. The Promoter may publish or make available the winner’s surname, county and winning entry to demonstrate that a valid award has taken place.
  2. An entrant may object to some or all of this information being published by contacting info@marcrist.com. The Promoter may still provide the information and the winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority or another competent regulator if required.
  3. The winner may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity, but participation will not be a condition of receiving the prize and no additional payment will be made.

13. Fair play and disqualification

  1. The Promoter may disqualify an entrant where it reasonably believes that the entrant has: (a) created or used multiple accounts; (b) entered using false or stolen information; (c) used automated entry software, scripts, bots or other unauthorised technology; (d) manipulated or attempted to manipulate the Competition; (e) colluded with another person to gain an unfair advantage; (f) interfered with the website or Competition systems; or (g) otherwise breached these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Entries generated automatically, in bulk, through agents or by third parties are prohibited.
  3. The Promoter may suspend an account while suspected fraud, abuse or misconduct is investigated.
  4. A prize may be withheld only where the entrant has failed to meet the clearly stated winning or eligibility requirements.

14. Changes, suspension and cancellation

  1. The Promoter may suspend, cancel or amend the Competition only where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable.
  2. Any change will be made in a way that minimises disadvantage to existing entrants and will be communicated through the Competition website.
  3. The Promoter will not change the closing date, winning criteria or prize after entry has opened unless the change is unavoidable, permitted by applicable law and fair to entrants.
  4. If the Competition cannot operate as intended because of technical failure, fraud, sporting disruption or another event outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may take any fair and reasonable action necessary to protect entrants and the integrity of the Competition.

15. Liability

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
  2. Subject to clause 15.1, the Promoter will not be responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
  3. The Promoter does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Competition website.
  4. The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the Premier League, English Football League or any football club unless expressly stated otherwise.

16. Personal information

  1. Personal information supplied by entrants will be used to administer the Competition, verify entrants, contact winners, award prizes, prevent fraud and meet the Promoter’s legal and regulatory obligations.
  2. Entry into the Competition does not require an entrant to consent to receiving marketing communications. Any marketing consent must be obtained separately and may be withdrawn at any time.

17. General

  1. By entering, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  2. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
  3. A delay by the Promoter in enforcing these Terms and Conditions will not prevent it from enforcing them later.
  4. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  5. Entrants living in England or Wales submit to the courts of England and Wales. Entrants living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts where applicable.
